The Charbern is an amazing place to call home! Every single resident is genuine and a true joy to be around. I had the pleasure of managing Charbern for little over a year and will truly miss everyone there. A concrete / brick construction from 1926 and hands down the most attractive building on the block! Package lockers for convenient 24hr access, spacious studios, 1 & 2brs, huge walk in closets, and gorgeous original hardwood floors are just a few features that stand out. Carolina Court was a very comfy place to live. I enjoyed the well-maintained garden/green space at the entrance, the new gym, and the modern laundry facilities. The newest building manager was also extremely kind and pleasant to work with. I initially chose to live in Carolina Court because it offered the most affordable rent out of anywhere in SLU, and for the price, it exceeded my expectations and was a very enjoyable experience. Only negative thing about Carolina Court is that it is located near busy roads, and it can be loud when buses or motorcycles pass by. However, that is just part of living in a busy neighborhood. Would highly recommend looking at Carolina Court
