I have been living here for over a year now and recently renewed my lease for another twelve months. I have rented several places in my lifetime, both on a lease and month to month, and I have to say, so far, this has been the best place I have ever lived. The place is centrally located within several nice neighborhoods and communities in and around Lake Union, Portage Bay, Union Bay, and Lake Washington. This building is surprisingly quiet despite its proximity to the freeway. My unit is small but very functional and modern. I would be remiss if I did not mention the property manager, Simone. She is very nice and accommodating. She is always on top of any issues, maintenance, or any concerns. John

Love living at the A.W. Larson building. Aside from the updated apartments and the weekly cleaning crew that makes the building smell fantastic, Simone our property manager is the absolute BEST. She is so quick to respond to any issues we may have and is so easy to talk to. Simone makes living here that much better!

Location... a pristine dwelling... a supportive manager. Honestly, there is NO apartment building anywhere that can satisfy the personal requirements or preferences of every individual. So in order to choose which apartment to call my home out of the thousands of options in Seattle, I had to prioritize my personal needs and wants. I chose the AW Larson apartments based on three criteria: the convenient location, the condition of the building itself, and the excellent treatment I receive from the property manager, Simone. First, location. Being new to Seattle, I wanted to be centrally located so that I could commute easily to every corner of the city and beyond. From Eastlake I can quickly jump on the I-5 and drive - within minutes - to downtown Seattle or SEATAC, to Bothell and all points north, or Kirkland, Redmond and Bellevue across the floating bridge. Taking the bus downtown or up to the U District is a piece of cake as the bus stops right outside the door. And the University District, restaurants, and water sports are just a short walk across the University Bridge. So if your criteria is a convenient location, AW Larson will satisfy that requirement. Second, the building itself. AW Larson is a relatively new build having opened in January of 2017. The units themselves are stylish, super clean, and boast modern appliances and fixtures. In addition, the management is incredibly quick to deal with maintenance issues, so the condition of the units, as well as the common spaces, continues to be top-notch. The gym and community areas are pristine, welcoming and properly maintained. At AW Larson, I feel comfortable leaving my individual unit to take advantage of the many community amenities. Third, the responsive staff. I have spent a lot of time researching other options in the convenient Eastlake area, but my final decision to stay here inevitably has been based on the excellent, friendly treatment I receive from the property manager, Simone. Living anywhere in Seattle is expensive, especially if you live within sight of the Space Needle. So if I choose to spend my hard-earned money for a convenient location, I expect to be treated with kindness, to be respected as an intelligent person, and to have my concerns addressed in a timely manner. Simone scores super-high points in all three areas. If your needs and wants are anything like mine, come give AW Larson a look. It isn't for everyone, but then again, no place ever is.
