We have lived in 8th and Republican for 2 months now and we liked the experience so far. Maintenance staff is very responsive. One time our toilet was clogged on Sunday - we didn’t think we would be able to use it till Monday but right after we submitted maintenance request, a staff came to help us fix. The gym facilities are very well-maintained. We also like that the room is very sound proof (once a week we would hear a dog barking but only for a few minutes and we don’t mind). We could hear noise along the corridor if people walk by/talk/open/close their door but this is rare and only if we are in the living room. As you can see, we love this place! Our only complaint would be a slightly high parking fee ($200 for an unreserved spot) and $60 utilities fee per person on top of the rent

This review is for Ferris in maintenance, he is awesome! I am the manager of the cafe connected to the building and he has helped us numerous times. I needed a repaired on our deck and he took care of it within an hour. The lock to the garbage area was broken and he fixed it super quick. I can't imagine 8th and Republican without him. 👍👍Thanks Ferris
