Review from the web

This place has gone down hill after new management took over about a year ago. Your service request will not be answered, the laundry room and pool are gross. The resident manager and lead repair person are complete worthless, never follow/ up. Hallway common areas are not cleaned, carpets are dirty. I lived here for almost 10 years and o was great, until new management took over. They charge market rate for dump, stay someplace else.

Located in First Hill, these apartments feature hardwood floors, large windows, and walk-in closets. The building includes a fitness center, package lockers, covered parking garage, and bike storage. Review from the web

Seriously the most charming, welcoming, and beautifully maintained building in First Hill and Capitol Hill. I lived here seven years (my first apartment in Seattle as a newly independent 20-something), and then bought a condo in Eastlake. I never stopped missing the Stockbridge, so less than 4 years later I sold the condo and moved back into the Stockbridge! The BEST part of this building is Janelle and I was absolutely thrilled she was still here. Best building manager EVER. She really cares, makes the building and every unit feel like home with her hard work and special touch, is super on top of everything, brings positive energy, and is amazing at making the Stockbridge the classic gem that it is! I also adore Paulo the maintenance man, who’s very speedy and equally delightful. When I saw them both greet me in the lobby my first day back I truly felt home. I’m a Stockbridge lifer as long as they’re here.

This review is for Ferris in maintenance, he is awesome! I am the manager of the cafe connected to the building and he has helped us numerous times. I needed a repaired on our deck and he took care of it within an hour. The lock to the garbage area was broken and he fixed it super quick. I can't imagine 8th and Republican without him. 👍👍Thanks Ferris

Speaking of caffeine, welcome to coffee city – let's get you acquainted with your new hangout spots. You've got the original Starbucks so that's pretty cool, but you also have boutique spots like Victrola Coffee and Neptune Coffee, where you can meet new people or just hunker down with your latte and laptop.

But if you want to be the next Kurt Cobain or Macklemore, that works, too. Seattle is known for being a particularly open and accepting place to reside, particularly with regard to the gay community. Whoever you are and whatever you do, what you'll love most about Seattle is how easy is it to escape to the mountains and the ocean for a weekend getaway. Meanwhile, the startup hotbed is cooking, ignited by the wild success of companies like Amazon.com, Allrecipes.com, Classmates.com, WhitePages.com, and Zillow.com. The video game industry is booming, thanks to Arenanet, Big Fish Games, PopCap, and Sucker Punch Productions. There are also supercomputers are being built at Cray Inc., and a growing biotech field with companies such as Juno Therapeutics, Kineta, Seattle Genetics, and ZymoGenetics.
