The management pretty much went way above what a normal business does to get me a safe and comfy place to be in, considering the fact that I was new here in the US. Two years down the line, their approach hasn’t changed, the units are still well maintained and feels almost brand new. Maintenance calls are answered quickly and efficiently, even though a bit pricey(so is parking). Overall it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a nice apartment.

Peter the Landlord doesn't care if you have the ability to pay rent he will active tell you "if you can't afford the area you shouldnt be in Seattle" if you are in government assistance and will not fix fire hazards, massive fire damage. He sells apartments for 1075 then a couple months later raise it by 400-500 for a mold ridden, cockroach infested, termite eaten, apartments with cracked walls and violent tweakers staying in the car port. Not safe at all and needs to be condemned before another person gets hurt.

Very fair rental rates and strict income requirements and limits on units which are made available for people of modest incomes. Units are made available on line to pre qualified applicants on a first come first choice on a unit so no endless lists. We have a very diverse population in age, race, working folks, and those on fixed incomes. It is located in a vibrant cool neighborhood close to public transportation, many services, and shopping/restaurants. I love the Melrose!
