Review from the web

The property manager is amazing, maintenance requests are fixed right away often next day, the rent is reasonable, the inside of the apartment unit is very nice and new, no issues. The actual building is old, from maybe the early 1900s I think, but it's well taken care of. I've had bad experiences with landlords in the past, but this place is really great, glad I found it.

Review from the web

This place is cheap but with so much noise. You can just hear the people is walking above you as the wooden floor is so old. You can hear your neighbors are speaking. And you can even hear they are snoring at night. Every morning you will be waked up at 5am 6am 7am 8am for frequently trash cars with "donng donng donng". I subleased from someone and moved out to a nearby apt in a few months. Don't recommend.

We had been apartment hunting all day until we arrived at Cyrene and met Juan. He provided an exceptional apartment tour experience that left us thoroughly impressed. His friendly personality, extensive knowledge of the property, and willingness to answer all our questions made us feel confident in our decision to sign a lease almost instantly. We toured on Saturday and signed the lease on Monday! He works fast. During the tour, he highlighted all the features and amenities, and was transparent about his experience as a Cyrene resident, making the decision-making process effortless. Juan's professionalism and expertise truly made our apartment hunting journey enjoyable and stress-free. Thank you Juan and Cyrene!

Review from the web

Everything is just fine, but is overcharged. I signed my contract remotely because I didn't want to travel during the covid. My apartment turns up to have a concrete floor, which is different from the figures that they showed to me. I hadn't see my manager for a year, and they don't want to check the apartment with me in person when I left. I have cleaned everything, but they even charged me for ~$400 for the cleaning after I moved out. I don't have a good experience but the apartment is okay.

Review from the web

I lived there for 4 years and I really enjoyed living there, I never had a problem, my work schedule was crazy and I never felt insecure, recently the place was renovated, they have a small dog park, the area to bath them is amazing, I didn't have to get wet in my bathtub, the area for barbecue and resting is really nice I love it. The manager Devin was so nice all the time with my family , my kids love go to the lease office to get chips and soda.

Learn more about renting in Seattle, WA

Well Toto, it looks like we are not in Kansas anymore, and it seems we've arrived in the Emerald City. In addition to your new brain, heart and courage, you'll soon become tech-savvy, over-caffeinated and learn to love the rain – you might even dance in it on occasion. Speaking of caffeine, welcome to coffee city – let's get you acquainted with your new hangout spots. You've got the original Starbucks so that's pretty cool, but you also have boutique spots like Victrola Coffee and Neptune Coffee, where you can meet new people or just hunker down with your latte and laptop.

Technology is the dominant industry in this city, so it's totally acceptable to unleash your inner geek here. In fact, it's cool to be a nerd in Seattle. But if you want to be the next Kurt Cobain or Macklemore, that works, too. Seattle is known for being a particularly open and accepting place to reside, particularly with regard to the gay community. Whoever you are and whatever you do, what you'll love most about Seattle is how easy is it to escape to the mountains and the ocean for a weekend getaway. The proximity to the natural beauty that surrounds Seattle makes it a particularly desirable place. First stop when you get home? Dick's Drive In, a classic Seattle burger joint, followed by Molly Moon's Ice Cream. Now click your heels – scratch that – your rainboots three times, and let's find your new apartment in Oz town.

The Seattle employment outlook is a combination of classic industry and internet-tech companies of the new economy. The Port of Seattle is the 8th largest in the country, and a major gateway for trade with Asia and cruises to Alaska. Freight forwarder Expeditors International is still in the Fortune 500, as well as Seattle-based Starbucks. The financial sector includes prominent players such as Capital One and conglomerate Vulcan Inc. Meanwhile, the startup hotbed is cooking, ignited by the wild success of companies like Amazon.com, Allrecipes.com, Classmates.com, WhitePages.com, and Zillow.com. The video game industry is booming, thanks to Arenanet, Big Fish Games, PopCap, and Sucker Punch Productions. There are also supercomputers are being built at Cray Inc., and a growing biotech field with companies such as Juno Therapeutics, Kineta, Seattle Genetics, and ZymoGenetics.

Methodology: How we got this data

Zumper’s proprietary rental data fuels our analysis. Rent and market trends, availability, neighborhood popularity, and lifestyle scores are all calculated using real-time and 2024 rental inventory and prices.

Our Lifestyle Categories ("great for eco-living," "great for social life," "great for pet owners," etc.) are determined by set criteria, against which we score each listing and its available features. At the neighborhood level, we calculate the listing count for each category to determine which lifestyles best fit each area.

Zumper, founded in 2012, is North America’s largest privately-owned rental platform, offering over 1 million listings across the U.S. and Canada. Stay informed on the latest trends and shifts in the rental market with our monthly National Rent Report, your go-to resource for key insights into the evolving rental landscape.
