The apartments are small but if you want to live in the neighborhood it is a hard to beat location.

The building is old and charming- built in 1907 as a mansion that was turned into apartments in the 1970s. The building was bought during the summer of 2022 by Westlake Associates- at the height of the recent real estate bubble, so Westlake will be raising rents quite a bit to make up for the fact that they probably over-paid for the property. A 400 square foot studio goes for $1550 as of summer 2023. Pipes and plumbing are aged in this building and the water will run red/yellow if it has been stagnant for a few weeks. Units easily get moldy. Units in the building are at the higher end of rent range for the neighborhood.

Although there was an issue with the dryer, the management was very responsive. Property managers Mark and Tonya are professional and attentive, significantly enhancing my moving and living experience. - View: My south-facing unit offers delightful sunshine and views of the community park next door when it's sunny. Room for improvement: - The fitness center is quite small. I am currently looking for a nearby commercial gym that is affordable and not too far away. The apartment itself had always been spotless. As someone who doesn't own a car yet, the frequent bus lines and handful of great restaurants were a HUGE plus. If reading this far, you may be wondering "If it was so great, then why'd she move?" My honest answer is that my partner had always wanted to live further away from the city, but my job always kept me close. With the lockdown and transition to working remote, we no longer had that restriction and ultimately decided to move. We constantly joke that we wish we could take the apartment and staff with us though, so definitely consider Devin and 3030 when looking for your next home.
