Careful with this building. They are claiming to offer their unit with new carpeting and flooring, which is funny as they just charged me a carpet cleaning fee upon move out. A week ago the manager told me they were changing the ad and NOT actually updating the floors, but alas... They moved a karate studio in underneath our unit mid-lease and for 4 hours a day, 6 days a week, we heard children screaming. They offered to let us move out once WITH A 15 DAY NOTICE while I was in a school program and couldnt take them up on it, then just closed the noise complaint. Make sure you see the unit midweek during class to see if it bothers you. Common areas are rarely cleaned, and when they do vacuum, they use a comedically sized one that cant actually keep up to the need. Look at the years of dirt on the baseboards and wonder at where your rent money is going! They tried to charge us for broken blinds and closet door hardware that were broken when we moved in, had made a ticket for fixing, but didnt bother us enough to get them replaced. Fixed the problem over email, but pretty sure that is their MO. Also suspected user of the apartment price fixing software RealPage, as we were once told what the "market value" of the unit was by an employee. If you just cleaned the building, and didnt put shouting children directly beneath us, we would have stayed... even with the leak problem in many other units. For the price, you can do better than here. Buyer beware!
