Straight out of central casting, Russian Hill is quintessential San Francisco. This photogenic neighborhood is home to many of the city's A-list attractions. Lombard's crooked curves, Hyde Street Cable Cars and panoramic views of the Bay keep visitors endlessly entertained and residents in awe of the place they call home. Hyde and Polk are stocked with places to sip, savor and see. Pop into La Folie for some bubbly, catch a French flick at the Alliance Français, or shop for unique clothes at Belle Cose. Russian Hill is a star. This unit is a rental unit subject to the San Francisco Rent Ordinance, which limits evictions without just cause, and which states that any waiver by a tenant of their rights under the Rent Ordinance is void as contrary to public policy.

covered parking garage is infested with rodents, piles of trash, and abandoned covered cars. city has come out to notify building managers that they are in violation and they choose to do nothing.

1) Unsafe. The majority of our packages are stolen. Management refuses to install cameras in the lobby or change the locks. Fire alarm is constantly broken. 2) Uncomfortable. Good luck sleeping. Incessant beeping from the fire panel. (Not only does this make it hard to sleep, it is clearly indicative of safety defects that require attention. Management blames the fire alarm company and does nothing.) Plus walls are paper thin, so you'll hear everything your neighbors say or do. (You'll also need to replace all of the shades if you plan to sleep past 6am.) 3) Unresponsive. Management is hard to reach and unhelpful when you do reach them. It's clear their business model is to stall as long as possible to either (a) reduce costs or (b) push out rent controlled tenants. 4) Unethical. Rent control sounds nice until you realize after a year they will do everything they can to get you to move out. Their business model is making rent controlled tenants miserable. This is clearly illegal.
