super helpful, nice team and extremely responsive. units are also great and maintenance requests are very fast as well. no troubles! Shoutout to Edylnn! units are also well soundproofed, don’t hear neighbours usually but do hear firetrucks. the gym and amenities are a plus. google fiber is also available! love it here! area is relatively nice but some characters do walk around occasionally. never felt unsafe. 12 min walk to bill graham is safe and doable, albeit very windy sometimes.

We’ve been living at Etta since March 2023. We’ve loved every minute of it - the building is concrete meaning that the soundproofing is A+ despite being right next to Van Ness, proximity to bars and restaurants on Polk is amazing and the apartments themselves are extremely spacious. The building amenities are well maintained and I would use the pool room quite often - both for pool, watching games and hosting events. The most impressive thing about Etta is the maintenance crew and building management. We’ve had cases where we need guest parking at the last minute which building management has obliged to, maintenance requests that are handled by Armando and crew who are friendly and punctual. Can’t say enough about the folks keeping Etta the way it is. The only con is that hemlock can have SOME weird characters but we’ve never been threatened by them, felt scared or been bothered by them ever. Would highly recommend anyone live here, it’s a great community.
