It has been a very pleasant experience living here since the moment I moved in last October. The apartment is pretty spacious for a studio with lots of storage areas. Because I live in a corner apartment, there is TONS of nature light, which says lots because, yeah, this is Seattle. The building is over 100 years old, which I like. I don't need a lot of amenities because the location more than makes up for it. I live on the 5th floor, and although I usually take the stairs, there is an elevator that does the trick on those long work days.
With all that said, the best thing about living at Edwards On Fifth is the property manager, Paige and the maintenance man, Fransisco. Or as I like to call them, The Dream Team! I've been renting apartments for over 25 years in New York City, Miami and now here in Seattle, and these two have it in the bag! Paige is seriously the most hands on and reachable property manager I have ever had. She made my move to Seattle so stress-free even before I got here and so comfortable for the past five months. Francisco is always on property cleaning, fixing and just generally keeping the place looking amazing. I never see him not working on something. They both have made my stay here so incredible and I am planning on renewing my lease already when the time comes. :)
All and all... Edwards On Fifth is home!

I had a great experience with Leslie and Jen. Great location near Amazon and South Lake Union. Can't beat the low-priced studios too.
Pretty cool apartments. Perfect sized studio for a bed & couch set up. Little to no maintenance issues so far, except the elevator occasionally breaking. Great price too and close to a lot of stuff. I have to say, when I moved in (came from out of state and couldn't tour before hand) I totally fell in love; lots of windows with light and good layout.
I do not have a parking spot, but since I have moved (over 9 months) I have never had trouble with street parking, and 8 out of 10 times I can park on the street right in front of the door!
No dishwasher, and kitchen space is a bit cramped but it's totally do-able. Laundry room as two dryers & two washers, and usually they are not in use so laundry isn't a hassle. Both wash & dry are $2.00 each.
Only improvements I could mention are tightening security a little more. I have seen people sleeping in the laundry room, and once passed a gentlemen sprawled out sleeping on the stairs (tried to yell to wake him, but his snores continued). Never been bothered by these types though, and I have never felt unsafe living here.
The street is also pretty quiet; was worried living in this area would be sketchy, but the blocks surrounding me are always city employees cleaning streets, people on morning jogs, and overall it feels very safe, even at night.
Packages also, you will want to grab them quickly but a lot of times delivery people will take them to your floor, in front of your door.
Sometimes the lobby can have suspicious odors, I assume from non-residents sneaking in, but the smell is always cleaned up quickly, so it is a non-issue for me. Maintenance always seems to keep a close eye on the cleanliness which I appreciate.
Overall, top notch for an affordable city apartment. Plan to stay here for a while (hoping the rent isn't raised too much each year!)

Edwards on Fifth is a great place to live! It is right next to the Space Needle, Sculpture Park, and so many great places to eat and shop. The landlord is always quick to respond and super friendly. And if you ever encounter a problem, maintenance is only a call away! Francisco is the maintenance guy and is such a helpful, great person. He is always on call and makes sure to keep the parking lot clean for residents and visitors. Edwards on Fifth have truly turned things around and I truly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to live in Seattle.

I moved here to Edwards recently and have a had a great experience so far! I truly think that this apartment is one of the best deals you can find in the area. Things are taken care of quickly, and the apartments themselves are spacious and quiet. Paige, the building manager, gives her residents her personal number so you are able to contact her if you have an issue at any time. Francisco maintains the building and is always around... there isn't an issue he can't fix. They're both some of the nicest people I know, and if you decide the apartments here are for you, you can rest assured that you will be taken care of.
This place is nice. Parking lot is clean, close to everything and the rooms are very spacious. Would change the elevator gate but other than that very nice spot for the price.
