Approximately 1500 sq/ft, this townhouse apartment was built to condo spec in 1996. Two bedrooms, each with full bath, sliding glass door in top floor living room opens to private 10' x 15' deck with gas grill. Front-loading washer and gas dryer, hardwood floors throughout, just refinished, tile in kitchen and bathrooms. New granite countertops and new sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms. Dishwasher, many kitchen cabinets, disposal, ice maker, etc. One car garage parking in the building is included, another garage space is available to rent across the street if desired, though street parking is easy with an "Area S" sticker. Tons of storage space (space for tons of storage?) in the garage including lifts to hang bicycles, kayaks, etc., about 25 linear feet of shelf space, and a locking closet. A rear yard deck is shared with the other townhouse (this in addition to the private deck off the living room.) Solar electric panels and a solar hot water preheater reduce utility bills. Gas heat/hot water/dryer/stove. Paraphrasing a guidebook- Corona Heights, bounded roughly by Roosevelt, 15th St., States, and Castro, has the richness and variety of a satisfying meal. The setting is complex. To the north you see the dramatic rock formation of Corona hill (510ft), geologically part of the Franciscan Formation, and very near the City's geographical center. East, a long block takes you to the transit hub of Castro and Market. A short stroll west brings the shops of Cole Valley. A glance south takes in the sunny Eureka Valley. This neighborhood is an oasis of calm in the center of the City. Another says: Wrapped around a park bearing the same name, Corona Heights is another of San Francisco's hilly neighborhoods - which means a neighborhood that boasts some great views of the surrounding city. Located in the geographic center of San Francisco, Corona Heights has the feel of being off the beaten path but is, in actuality, just minutes away from city resources. Corona Heights' proximity to Haight Ashbury, Cole Valley, and The Castro puts it close to great shopping and interesting dining options; while the Castro Street Muni station places the rest of San Francisco within a quick and easy commute. Corona Heights Park provides plenty of recreational opportunity for residents and includes hiking trails, an enclosed dog park, a playground, gardens, tennis courts, and a family-friendly museum that, in addition to exhibits, offers workshops to adults and children. We do not rent to smokers. Dogs ok. Sorry, no cats. $4,400/mo.
