My wife and I have been here for almost 2 years now and we absolutely love the place. This is an amazing apartment, huge for a 1b/1ba, literally in front of Eureka and steps from Jupiter, Sliver, La Note and the Saturday morning farmer's market. On top of that the building is 30 seconds from Downtown Berkeley BART, which is perfect for commuters to the city. The building is very safe and services are great too. Super-close to college too for students. It also has a sweet rooftop shared with all residents with BBQs and couches. THIS IS A LEASE TAKEOVER. You would be taking over our lease which will last until the 31st of March 2017. After that, you will be able to renew the lease as normal. A few facts: - Apartment is on the 5th floor, there are 9 floors in this building. - Dishwasher - The building and apartment are wheelchair accessible. - The building has an underground parking garage and residents can get a spot in there for an extra monthly fee (not included in the $3150 - an additional $150 a month, $125 for every spot after the first). - The building is cat and dog friendly, but for a pet you'll need to pay them a deposit of $500 and an extra $50 a month. - You'll have a huge balcony all to yourself, this is south-facing so you also get great light on it! - Smoking is prohibited everywhere in the building, including private balconies and rooftop. - Air conditioner built-in the apartment! - Windows are thick and the place is quiet despite being in the middle of downtown. - Good insulation, so you won't need the AC most of the time. - There are LUXOR delivery lockers, so couriers can leave packages in there if you're not home. - There's waste vallet service that comes pick up the garbage at your apartment. - There's a Laundry Locker locker in the underground garage. - Every week there's a farmers market literally across the street. - Every month there's live music and dancing literally across the street (http://www.downtownberkeley.com/eats-beats-brews-14) - Jupiter is great for social pizza and beer. - Venus and La Note are 2 of the best brunch spots in Berkeley.
