I enthusiastically recommend SG Real Estate and their Aquatic@U property, which my son moved into as a transfer student to UC Berkeley. Aquatic@U is modern, visually pleasing, safe, and immaculate. The lobby entrance, elevator, and rooms all have digitized access keys. The studio rooms have everything you need, including washer/dryer and plenty of storage space, and are designed for sharing which keeps the price reasonable. It's located right in the middle of downtown Berkeley with stores, restaurants, and campus all within walking distance. Frankly I was surprised to find this level of quality for student accommodation. Best of all, SG Real Estate is extremely responsive and caring. I especially appreciated Jessica Vernaglia, who reached out to make sure my son was doing well, and responded super fast to answer our questions and address any issues. She and her team even incorporated some of our questions into an information letter for the whole community. From the top down SG appears to be very customer focused and keen on hearing how they are doing from their residents. I think they're doing great!

Out of all the studios that I have toured in Berkeley, Aquatic at U is absolutely a hidden island of gold. Not only is the location incredibly convenient being next to the University, grocery outlets, a diverse amount of restaurants, and a corner away from the Bart, but it also is placed in a quiet and secure corner. The interior is incredible, with a beautiful modern aspect and includes every amenity you need. The security is ahead of most dorms and the staff is amazing, shout out to Kaitlin and Enrique for being incredibly helpful and responsive. Overall, I highly recommend staying here for the best and convenient experience.
