Management can be difficult to get ahold of for any issues that are not repairs. Repair issues are handled pretty promptly, but sometimes they decide they're not going to fix something if it's only half-broken. Regarding temperature, yes it is warmer inside the apartment but I see this as a good thing. It is typically 80°F inside the apartment, while it's anywhere between 55-75°F outside (with windows closed). I'm comfortable at 80°F. It cools off pretty quickly to 70-75°F if you open the windows. So I don't see temp as a problem. The biggest issue I've had is management, who don't really put much effort in.

One of San Francisco’s poorly ventilated apartment complexes, to be avoided. When it was 70 degrees outside it was 87 degrees inside our unit on the third floor. Windows either do not open or just crack open.
