Built in 1911, it was the first luxury residential building to be built after the 1906 earthquake and once operated as a high-end hotel where numerous San Francisco high society clubs would gather. It features a grandiose lobby with green Corinthian style columns, porte-cochere, and stately brick façade. Many apartments feature spacious floor plans, ornate architectural details and sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and San Francisco skyline.
