Old building with character and charm, but low water pressure and wafer-thin walls. Was an affordable place to live before the long-time owner retired and building was purchased by local investors. New management increased rent 40 percent just as the pandemic hit and took away the tenant’s storage room to convert into another apartment unit to make more money. On-street parking can be difficult at times as more single-family homes are bought up by developers, demolished and turned into multi-unit housing with no dedicated parking.
