Two bright, sunny bedrooms available with nearly-new bamboo floors and three windows in a big house with wonderful housemates and nearby (one block) restaurants, bars and the works. The house: Four bedrooms, two baths, washer and dryer on first floor, large kitchen/living room common area. Front porch, big back deck, large yard completely fenced in. Room #1: 15x12 -180 sq ft ($750/mo) Nearly new bamboo floors and fresh paint job, north-facing windows, shares a bathroom with one person. Bright, freshly-painted walls compliment excellent sun coverage through each of the three windows. A nook provides adequate storage space for clothing and other doodads. Room #2: 11x18 - 220 sq ft ($820/mo) Giant, sunny room with nearly new bamboo floors and big windows, and nooks perfect for desk and couch areas. The closet is large (17.5 sq.ft). Three big windows, two of which overlook NE Portland. Previous tenant happily lived here for most of a decade. Do you like food? Do you like walking short distances to find it? Well if this isn't the place for you then I don't know what is. We are blessed with restaurants and cafes up and down both Williams and close-by Mississippi. There are numerous bars to hop along to, a New Seasons, corner stores, haircutters, yoga studios, multiple music venues. You get the idea. This is also an excellent jumping off point to bike to other parts of the city. Walking distance from New Seasons, Mississippi, Williams and a few bus stops away from the Rose Garden TriMet hub. Driveway available when needed, though everyone street parks. The Roommates, ages 32-41: Zach is an early-thirties grad student, our resident dungeons and dragons expert, pursuing a masters in political science, and a wonderful roommate. Phil is from N. Carolina and works in the cannabis industry. He is a longtime PC gamer and loves exploring PDX in search for street art. He is also the owner of Banjo, a dumpster dog with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. Amber, our resident seamstress extraordinaire, works in a comedy club and is always available for a good chat. Each housemate operates according to their own schedules, and have been known to go out for drinks, celebrate holidays, play board games, and see movies together. Daily life looks like running into housemates and friends in the kitchen, sharing a chat, and going about our days. There is space as much good conversation and fun as is wanted. Our common spaces are most often used for movie watching, pizza eating, pet cuddling, and enjoying each other's cooking. We enjoy alone time in our rooms, too, and are respectful and quiet. Essential chores always get done, including: taking out the garbage and recycling; doing dishes; and generally keeping commonly used areas clean. We honor quiet hours spanning 10pm to 8am, with exceptions here and there. What we're looking for: Financial stability: someone with either a job or steady source of income. We have a flawless record of paying on time, we invite you to participate in that. LGBTQ-friendly. We would also accept one more cat or dog into our family. (Pet rent is $50/mo).
