The spacious kitchen/dining area has ample cabinet space, a pantry, and room for a small four-chair dining table. French doors lead into the bedroom/living area —It has a good size closet and is large enough to section off a comfortable sleeping space while still creating a separate space for a couch, chair and TV. There are two nice sized storage spaces in the unit. The bathroom has a shower and a nice sized linen cupboard. (No bathtub) Your small patio looks out on our beautiful quarter-acre lot with two stunning centennial beech trees. 7 miles to downtown Seattle 2 miles to I-5 and the Light Rail. Walking distance to QFC, Safeway, The Thirsty Fish, Metropolitan Market and Dicks Drive In. Multiple nearby bus stops. Our current tenant has been with us since 2019 and is sadly leaving because her needs have changed. About the Living Situation: We are a happy, stable couple in our early 60s. We both work and have a busy social life outside of the house. Our home life is a peaceful, and relatively quiet place where we connect, laugh, meditate, read, watch tv and recharge. We are looking for a renter who enjoys something similar in their home life. Because of our work schedules we keep quiet hours between 10pm and 8am and ask the same in return. Respectful and wide-open communication is an absolute must for everyone to thrive.😀 This is a great fit if you: Value peace, privacy, and a pretty chill home base. Are resilient around small everyday noises that go with living below other humans. Are looking for long-term, stable housing. This is probably NOT the right fit if you: Have a busy, high-traffic social life at your home. Like to make smoothies at 11pm. Commonly enjoy loud music or loud TV. NO pets. NO smoking ANYWHERE in or on the premises. The home was built in 1926 and has the charm to match — occasional floor creaks and normal household sounds are part of the character, and we work hard up here to minimize our impact on the space below. We truly care about our tenants happiness. We are looking for a tenant who cares as much about our peace and comfort as we care about theirs.
