I was a little nervous when I first toured Pacific Walk a year ago when I was apartment hunting, because the tour was great, the apartment was nice, and the office staff were friendly, but when I got home and started looking at reviews, I was definitely concerned. I talked to them about their reviews, and got the impression they were working hard to turn things around. Decided to take a chance and sign a lease, especially since it was cheaper rent than several of the other places I had been looking at. A year later, I can say that I've just renewed my lease for a second year, and could not be happier at pacific walk! My rent is barely increasing this second year, and I haven't had any of the issues I saw in some of the negative reviews. Furthermore, what issues I have had, were all resolved insanely fast (I've put in 2-3 service/maintenance requests in the last year, and they've all been resolved the very next day before I even got home from work). The grounds are kept clean, the communication from the office is great, the appliances are a tad old but still run fine, all in all they definitely seem to have turned things around. The only issues I've ever had have been with the parking situation; sometimes it can be a little rough on the holidays, or sometimes I can't park in my usual spot if I get home later than normal. But even then, it typically ends up being a difference of an extra 20feet from my apartment, I've never had a problem not being able to find a spot at all. It's pretty comparable to most of my friend's apartments, although could definitely be a little better. But it's certainly not bad enough to dock a star. These apartments are great, and I definitely recommend not letting the negative reviews stop you from taking a look.
