I’ve lived here for a little over a year and really do like this place. There are some things that are an issue like the dog poop but that’s a resident issue since management can’t really track down every single dog owner. I also wish there were more trash containers. And I wish the coffee stand was open! But Every maintenance issue has been taken care of so quickly and the maintenance staff are so respectful and nice. The women in the office are always smiling and friendly. My kids love the pool and playground. And I do feel safer at night knowing security drives around. I don’t know why there are so many negative stars. Our experience here has been awesome!!

From the very start Danielle has exceeded our expectations. She answered every question and made our move in process as stress free as possible. Even after moving in Danielle and staff have made sure we have been taken care of. I have worked in the industry and lived with many different companies and the team here is by far the best customer service I have ever experienced. I’ve seen the reviews from the past, however you can tell that new management has taken care of a lot here. The community stays clean nor has noise hasn’t been an issue. Not only has the team been great, the pricing is reasonable, and the amenities offered are on point!

I'm puzzled by so many bad reviews. I've now lived here almost 7 yrs. I think of how many areas there are here, and wonder if some of the complaints are particular to some part of the areas. My apartment is well built, and well insulated. There are a few drawbacks. Had my car broken into once 3yrs ago. The trees dripping sap onto the cars. Which I solved readily by renting a carport which guarantees me a parking spot. I love the large dogs being led about. It's only one of three complexes in Tacoma that have no height or weight limit on dogs. I think of the big dogs being put down in the shelters for lack of permissible apartment complex housing and am grateful for the Lodge.
Also love how peaceful and quiet this area is , but know that could change if fellow dwellers get into spats. But hasn't happened yet in seven years.

I can’t rate the apartments themselves but we went on tours with Tre he brought us to three properties including the lodge and he was great! Not only funny he was very professional answered all our questions quickly and clearly and made us feel very welcome during the tours.

So, we have been here since September and we wrote a glowing review upon move in. Six-ish months later, we wanted to write a follow up review. We love this place, it is home! The management/leasing staff are incredible! It is so nice and comforting when I walk in the office and they greet me by name and ask how I’m doing and if there is anything we need. They are enthusiastic, empathetic, and just all in all, warm and welcoming people. We haven’t really had any maintenance issues to bring up, but when I come in to pay my rent (I’m old school, but they have online payment available lol), they always double check that I don’t have any maintenance requests. I have never personally had a problem with parking, it’s pretty open near my building, but I know there are areas, like any complex that can bottleneck…I can tell they are working on that. Last week they did a sweep and made sure to address any derelict or abandoned vehicles. I’ve also seen an increase in grounds maintenance. No place is perfect, it’s an apartment community where the residents and requests outnumber the community staff. But from living in apartment communities and even working as an apartment manager for over 10 years in the past, I can honestly say that they go above and beyond and are more than comparable in the value you’d get anywhere else.
