Nice clean, friendly neighbors

Responsive and professional management, quiet and polite neighbors. My unit was spacious and in good shape for its age. Location is the best and worst thing about this complex; 100 feet from a stop with bus lines going to UW, but necessarily also in the middle of two major traffic arteries through U-District (15th and University Ave). You'll hear every bus that goes by, in addition to every dump truck or heavy construction vehicle barreling through the alley, and of course your fair share of unavoidable sirens. The windows aren't sealed well enough to stop much of the noise, and heavy curtains weren't enough to deaden the sound for me. You should evaluate based on your tolerance. Enough folks smoke on the sidewalk or on their balconies (southside of the building, along 55th) that you'll have to be selective about when you open the windows.
