Uwajimaya Village Apartments is an affordable complex in the heart of Seattle's International District, situated on top of Uwajimaya Market. There's easy access to groceries and the attached Kinokuniya bookstore, there's dozens of restaurants within walking distance that serve delicious food, and the leasing agents (namely Baker, who processed my lease and patiently answers all my questions) are knowledgeable, friendly, and hardworking. This complex also features an Amazon locker, so packages aren't left in a common area or outside my door, and are secure until I can go grab them. Overall I very much enjoy living here, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Moving to Uwajimaya Village Apartments is an extraordinary experience :) The leasing agent Baker was incredible every step of the way for all my questions with response times unheard of for most rental properties.
The move in process was as transparent as can be (compared to the “normal” experience which is pretty bad). The move in was great with a convenient freight elevator and a walkthrough so there was no confusion about the state of the apartment when it was handed to me. I was very pleased by the level of communication within the community as well.
My apartment is beautiful with a view of a momiji tree in the courtyard which provides privacy from other residents windows. It’s surprisingly quiet for the city and with connections to public transit I wish I could live here forever.
My partner and I had a wonderful experience when we went for a tour. Baker (the Leasing Agent...I think that's their title) was kind and informative. We didn't end up choosing to apply, but the experience was positive and appreciated our follow-up communication. Many thanks!
Maintenance does such an amazing job. Not only do they successfully complete service work in a timely manner shout out to (Micheal ), but also maintaining the property and keeping up on outside work to make sure our environment stays clean and beautiful!!

Honestly, I don't really have much but great things to say about the Uwajimaya Village Apartments. Today is my move-out day, and it truly makes me sad.
The management and staff were always very kind. Many of them knew me by name and even unit number. They had events all the time to get the tenants together, and the leasing office was clean, with a "quiet room" full of board games and a popcorn machine and coffee. There's a Luxer locker system for packages, so you don't need to wait for the leasing office to be open to pick up packages. The koi pond is beautiful and a great place to hang out on a warmer day. They bring the grills out in the summer.
I lived in a carpeted studio that had more than enough space for me. There was a nice little Juliet balcony -- it didn't provide much space to stand outside, but having double doors I could open meant I never needed AC; I could open the front door and the double doors and it was great.
The proximity to downtown and having the Link right outside was convenient. The amount of good authentic Asian food was also convenient. And, or course, living on top of a Japanese grocery store was very convenient.
If I could, I'd stay here. My rent didn't even jack up that high if I'd renewed my lease. Unfortunately, I'm leaving Seattle for a while, and had to give it up. When I come back, I'll be seeing if they have any openings here.
I love living here at Uwajimaya Village Apartments! The leasing and maintenance staff are always super helpful and responsive. The courtyard which I love is well maintained with koi fish and bird bath. Of course living in the ID makes shopping so easy and so much fun!

Lived here for two years in an 2/2 and I can confidently say it was the best apartment I have ever lived in! We planned to stay longer but got the opportunity to buy a home and took our chance. The staff who work here are compassionate, responsive, communicative and knowledgeable - they really helped to make our experience while living here seamless and comfortable. Larry is especially wonderful to work with! Apartment felt clean, safe and spacious for the city, and with amenities, shopping and food so close by, it was a breeze to do daily chores and have fun without a car.
Thanks again to Larry and the rest of the team for an amazing 2 years!
