I had a great experience living here. It's in a really great location, within 5 minutes of I-10, I-610 & Hwy 290. I work in Jersey Village and had the luxury of a reverse-commute for three years. There are also some great amenities nearby - The Heights is booming right now, and you won't find another place within walking distance of 10+ bars, Walgreens AND a bike trail anywhere else that's not at least twice as expensive. I lived here for the location, and also for the decent, affordable apartments. In the three years I lived here, the property was well-maintained, the maintenance staff was quick to respond and the office staff was always helpful. They have also begun renovations on the buildings to paint them and replace wood, etc. The only complaint I have is that the washing and drying machines in the laundry room rarely all worked. Given all the positives, I was able to live with that for what I was paying. I had a great time living here and would highly recommend it to any young professional who wants to live in The Heights, be near amenities and have great access to highways while you save for a house, work on your career or just enjoy the area. As far as the reviews concerning theft, in my opinion, you take that risk anywhere. Be aware that there is access to the property from the Bayou, but I personally never had any issues concerning theft in three years.
