Kimmie Hay the general manager handled the AC situation very well. She sent us all emails about what was happening and she handled everything in a timely manner with the AC repair service. She sent us an email before and after the repair to make sure every AC was chilling properly. She organized ice cream and a food truck and margaritas for everyone. She also coordinated the repair of the parking lot roof covers on the south parking lot. Thank you Kim. All your work gets noticed and thank you for keeping us all well informed about each step. Living here and knowing that Kimmie is the general manager one feels the care, service and the heart she puts into it and into her team.

I love this community because is very convenient, close to everywhere and have competitive and affordable rates comparing to other apartment complex in the area. Staff is very professional, friendly and very effective. specially the manager Cynthia, The maintenance supervisor Eddie. always having a welcoming attitude, smile and always treating us like a family. The office Manager ( Cynthia) always following back to make sure that everything been taking care of. I have noticed that she works by her self in the office the majority of the time, however she handles everything with professionalism and in a timely manner.

Hello firstly. I have been living at this property since September 2016. I have never lived any problem with the maintenance. Before you prefer this property, you should know that here is an older not like a brand new. But at the same time if you compare the prices in this location, you will see that here is more cheaper than other ones. I have paid two times for two bedroom untill I move in here. It was the same street maybe 200 feet far away to here.
The staff is so friendly and helpful. I have never lived any problem and when we asked them for maintenance they always tried to help us.
Most likely I will move out from the country but before I move out here I want to thank (especially manager) Ms. Emily, Tatiana and maintenance staff. They are really so frindly and smiling people. I have had really good time.
Thank you Plantation.
This is a 2020 update for Plantation Apartments. I have been a resident since 2007, going on 13 years now, in two different ground floor units. The location is a big plus, as it is just across the street from the Galleria Plaza, 610, major shopping, business, and dining chains, and many are within walking distance. The complex caters to a largely middle class clientele, and prices are competitive, running around $1.5 to $1.7 per square foot, depending on the size of the unit and add on services in the lease requested by the customer. Police patrol the area regularly, as it is in a high income/multi business area. The high value of the business and residential areas does not mean crime is absent, as the wealth of the area does attracts some criminal elements. It does mean that more security measures are in place, Police response is faster, the community is quicker to spot and report suspicious sightings, and apprehensions are made more often due to the the above factors. All in all, its a favorable trade-off. Plantation has been very good about taking care of residents after a disaster, as hurricane and tropical storms and thunderstorm power outages are a fact of life in the Gulf Coast region of Texas. I've always had damage assessment within a day or two of my request, and the problem of wet carpets, plumbing, AC or water heater problems are taken care of professionally. Prestige Carpet Care has been one of the companies used, and Edras Salazar, the owner, does an outstanding job with flooded carpets. Eddie, the maintenance go-to for the complex is very efficient and highly knowledgeable., Whether its plumbing, electrical, AC, or other systems he seems to always know what to do and gets it taken care of quickly. Spraying for bugs can be requested for free if necessary, and the AC vents are checked and filters replaced very 6 months or so, or even quicker if needed. The units are rather classic in design and has several pools. Covered parking is adequate and trash pickup has been added as a service. (renting a garage is available to tenants with high value vehicles as an option within their lease terms, along with things such as maid service) The complex used to be partially entry controlled, with one main entry point always open and two others gated off except for special occasions, but now the entire community is gated so security is much improved. The front office has always been helpful, even through the normal personnel rotations that occur in a business. Ermy, the realtor in the office, office manager Cynthia, and Eddie are the office staff I've had the most interactions with over the last several years and they have been great. They are professional and efficient, and appreciate and respond well to courteous treatment, which doesn't always happen in a business unfortunately, but most people do try to interact in a respectful way. The area continues to grow and maintain its commercial and residential status, and renters, like me, continue to sign up or stay on.
