Lived here for 6months 01/20-07/20. It wasn’t a bad place once inside the building. Parking sucked for sure, and the fire station was always busy. That area ain’t the best but it could’ve been worse. Lots of activity always going on. Also driving up and down Rainier Ave S is the worst! I hate that road so glad to not have to drive it anymore!

It's a Carl Haglund apartment special ... Say no more. Building is roach infested. I witnessed a guy get shot outside the apartment (Google 'hillman city shooting'). Trash everywhere outside. Right by a fire station so get used to emergency sirens at all hours. Management was fair with security deposit return. Management did respond to my maintenance requests (although roach extermination was ineffective). Tenants were mostly good people (except for the violent random cursing and screaming at 3am).
