I have stayed here now for about 3 months now. My 5 stars are powered by the people who help run the place -- In particular Natashia who I have had the most contact with prior to moving in, and after. Natashia is the building manager who helps upkeep the Fairfax alongside Otto the technician and others (porters, cleaners, etc). This is my first time writing any Google review because I feel like she (and other staff) deserves the props and shoutout 100%.
From the beginning when coming to check out apartments, Natashia was responsive and extremely easy to get along with. When I had a pricing confusion, she not only cleared up the misunderstanding, she went out of her way to make sure I had both the best price AND experience with renting out my room.
Some easy points to consider:
- The Grove being across the street with other many walkable options (including the cafe right below) makes the location extremely valuable
- This place is kept clean and well maintained constantly
- This place uses various kinds of technology to make things easy including package delivery, in-home Nests, app for the front door which you can easily have visitors use, Rentcafe app for announcements and payment, etc.
- The total unit number is fairly small in the apartment, which means it is actually very quiet and orderly internally -- I love this about the place
- Natashia is just great and so easy to communicate with
- If you're a pet owner, there is a separate dog run on the rooftop that is beautiful (the whole rooftop is amazing, I eat lunch there sometimes for the view)

Great location and nice staff. Complex is well maintained.

The building manager, Natashia, is the best manager I have ever encountered. She consistently responded to my inquiries promptly and addressed all my questions thoroughly. Natashia provided detailed information about the property online, including its amenities, something I had not experienced during online tours of other properties. Her support and kindness were evident throughout my interactions with her, and I was strongly inclined to lease an apartment in this building primarily because of her excellent management. With my extensive leasing experience, I understand the importance of efficient management for a comfortable living experience. Ultimately, I did not lease a unit in this building because my preferred unit had already been rented out, and I received a special offer for another apartment on the same day. Nevertheless, I still intend to consider moving to Fairfax in the future due to the exceptional management.
Located in the most perfect location - walkable to everything!
The building is extremely well kept, clean and modern. The staff here are super nice and friendly and ready to help when needed. The building is very secure, you definitely feel safe. Love this building!

Love this building! Its well maintained, very secure and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home! Natashia is the best property manager around. Her staff are great especially the day porter. He keeps the place cleaned, very polite and hard worker. I would highly recommend this place!
The onsite manager Natashia is great, Otto the maintenance guy is amazing, and the rooftop is awesome, but thats it. If you enjoy peace and quiet, DO NOT move here. The walls are paper thing its like living with roommates in the same apartment. You can hear the phone conversations in the unit next to you, can hear the tv and arguments from the neighbor below at 3am and feel the vibrations from their subwoofer, can hear AND FEEL the footsteps from above. I understand some noise in apartments is common, but there's no reason I should be able to clearly hear my neighbors conversations. I was just in my bathroom and I heard my neighbor downstairs very clearly say "wait for me, i'll be there in a sec". I can even tell what they're watching when their tv is on. I'm just trying to relax and unwind after a long day, and my neighbor on the left is currently on the phone and coughing, and yup, you guessed it, can hear it over my tv. No one should be subjected to these conditions, and then add the 3k+ price tag ontop of that.. For that price, it shouldn't be too much to ask to be able to enjoy your night in peace.
Dogs loudly barking pretty much constantly.
If a neighbor is having a party, forget about it. Can hear the screaming and music from a unit 4 doors down, its quite shocking the sound travels that much.
You'll usually find a homeless person or 2 camping outside the building, sometimes right in front of the door, although I guess this is normal, its LA.
Other than that, its a great location and thats honestly what you're paying crazy rent for.
