Portrait really has it all! Super modern amenities and just a quick walk away from the heart of downtown Phoenix. I’ve also really enjoyed the feature of Apartment Life (they put on fun and free events pretty often)! This is the first apartment I’ve lived in that has this and it’s been an awesome perk. Overall, the Portrait is just a great spot.

*I am not a resident, just took tours
We toured units with Samantha in late April 2023 while visiting from chicago. We had picked multiple “higher end” buildings & properties in the PHX metro area to tour, & when I say everything about Portrait @ Hance (including their staff) blew me away, I’m not kidding.
Many other places we toured treated me like it was an inconvenience to give me a basic 5 min tour. They barely showed me much, couldn’t answer basic questions, & were really pushy about signing on something.
Samantha was the total opposite. She is absolutely down to earth kind, so patient, & so personable. The day we took our tour I immediately submitted feedback to building management through their contact form on the website to applaud her because I was so impressed. She was incredibly flexible with us. Since we’re moving cross country (for the first time), it’s a big stressor trying to plan everything in advance, esp when most properties want a “sign on the line deal” immediately once you tour. Sam did not do this & we were so happy to work with her. She even shared she had also moved far to live in PHX & was able to relate to our worries, which put our minds at ease! She showed us all possible 2 bed units that we could see, somehow answered every relevant (& unrelevant) question I had, made sure to give us all the details we needed, & took her time touring us the property. Her character shines as she said hello & had conversations with every resident we encountered along the way. Plus, all the units are flawless, stunning, & the property is well kept & clean.
We fell in love with the property, amenities, location, & competitive pricing. Samantha, however, made me want to move here even more than I already do as I can tell from my interactions with her & other staff members that they all have a common goal to ensure you’re comfortable, happy, & get what you need.
I’ve followed up many times asking more questions & again, Samantha (& Trinity) have both been incredibly kind & helpful answering all my questions.
This experience sold me & is 1000x experience better as a potential resident than any of the other ~10 competing properties I toured.
I can’t wait to move here & am so grateful to Portraits staff! I cannot say enough good things.

Portrait is one of the best apartment complexes I've been to in downtown. It’s in downtown, walking distance from the farmers market and a bunch of great restaurants and coffee shops. The amenities are awesome and the staff was very helpful. You need a fob to get in the building and to use elevators. Maintenance is super responsive as well as the leasing staff. Parker and Blanca are the best!

Elizabeth was so helpful with all of my leasing inquires! Everything she knew she explained very well and she was very transparent with everything she didn’t. Her desk mate Blanca was incredibly helpful and quite frankly should be in a management position. I was In the leasing office for hours trying to get help with renewing my lease agreement. And the woman who was supposed to help me, Sandra, was unable to help me. Blanca managed helping all the delivery people, walk ins, and assisting Elizabeth in helping me finish my lease agreement. What a relief in comparison to previous leasing people at this complex.

I just moved into the downtown area of Phx and have been wanting to live at the Hance Park Apartments for multiple reasons, so a couple months ago I went in for a tour and there was a lady in the office who was the absolute worst! I can’t remember her name, I believe it was Tasha? She was very unwelcoming and had the worst attitude when it came to me asking for the tour and the worst part, she was the manager! Absolutely horrible manager. (She didn’t even help me with a tour. I was told to come back another day and it was hours before the office closed.)
Well I went in just this week in hopes to speak to someone else to inquire about a tour and wow let me tell you what a turn around experience it was! There was a lovely lady ready to help me out and her name was Jada and she gave me all the information I needed to have in regards to the complex and was even kind enough to show me a tour. As we were speaking I did mention my frustrations with Tasha the manager and she explained Tasha is no longer with the company and introduced me to the new manager Parker and he’s an absolute sweetheart! I can see now Hance Park Apartments are now in good hands and it makes me feel 10x better about potentially making this my new home. Thank you to Jada and Parker , you guys are the best!!!

The apartments are beautiful and lots of amenities to enjoy. Elizabeth took me on an amazing tour and answered all my questions. This community is one of my top places I’ll be picking when I move.

Blanca, an employee of both Lydian and Portrait apartments (neighboring sister buildings) is the greatest leasing agent I’ve ever worked with. She has a knack for explaining things in a concise manner and she’s funny, personable and easy to approach if there’s a problem. I don’t work in that industry but I honestly wish Blanca was my boss. If you want to check out either Lydian or Portrait, ask for her to give you a tour. They’re cool apartments with great amenities in an area with hip restaurants.
