I don’t understand the negative reviews, actually living in the Viceroy is a positive experience. Management has been accommodating too.

I lived at the Viceroy for only five months and I had to leave my lease early. I stayed in a studio on the 1st floor and I could hear everything. When I say everything, I mean, I could hear EVERY movement my upstair neighbor made. They also had a toddler and I would get woken up every morning at 4:30 am by their floors shaking my ceiling and loud banging noises. These noises were just caused by the toddler running, walking and jumping around, but they were so disturbing I that two fans and white noise machines couldn't even block out the noise. Every step they took, creaked loudly. I could even hear them talking. I also lived right by the front door, and each time a delivery person came inside, my walls would shake because the building is so old. I was literally only getting 3-4 hours of sleep a night and I felt like I could never relax in my own home. On top of the constant noise, there were people who would smoke crack outside of my window. They also removed the screens on the windows while I was there, so lots of bugs and flies would get in. It's a bummer, because this building is super cute but there is absolutely no way I would recommend living there. Maybe if you live on the top floor with no upstairs neighbors, but living on the bottom floor was insanely loud. I know that living in apartments carries the risk of hearing your neighbors, but you shouldn't be woken up every morning at 4 am and be able to hear every footstep and movement of your upstairs neighbor.
