My husband and I have lived at Gables Central Park for over 2 years now. We actually lived here, moved to NYC and when we moved back to grow our family we knew we had to return. The office team is great! Matt and Grady are so kind and patient. Plus I feel like so many offices have such high turnover but not this place. The maintenance team is the best. Not only is everything completed quickly but they go above and beyond. When my baby was a newborn they even knocked gently and did repairs quietly not to wake him. At our last unit our ac was a little wonky one day and they even brought a portable unit for just in case but were able to have it fixed that day. Ken is the best!! The complex is quiet, but at the same time you’re close to everything. Walking distance to central market, coffee shops, and being next to a beautiful park and walking trail. Plus you’re so close to Hyde Park which is also great for walking and has little shops and neighborhood restaurants. Lastly being from Austin so many complexes are old buildings that got a paint job and are now super expensive. Gables is a little expensive (at least for us) but worth it. They don’t have the modern hip finishes like a lot of newer complexes but the quality is there. The walls aren’t thin, I’ve never had any pest issues, and the grounds are so well maintained. The gym is small but that’s never mattered for us. I cannot recommend this complex enough, and no they do not have perks for good reviews. I just love this place.

My wife and I moved back to Texas from NYC, and needed to find a place without touring in person. Grady personally FaceTimed us to walk through the available units, and was patient with all our questions. We have dealt with difficult landlords before, so it was refreshing to just have someone be kind, and human. He and Matt were always friendly and helpful during our 2+ years as residents. Ken and the maintenance team are awesome - highly skilled, and prompt with maintenance requests. The location and amenities are also great. We regularly enjoyed the gym and pool. The proximity to the park, Central Market, and downtown are a huge plus. We wish we could have stayed longer, but needed more space as our family grew. We highly recommend this place.
