I had all of the same experiences described by Mark below, except I was charged $75 instead of $50 for the excess cardboard boxes near the trash. I cannot possibly say enough negative things about casa del rio and ATX property management. In every stage of leasing with them, from inquiring about the apartment to moving in to living there to moving out, they were inconsiderate and often outright disrespectful. There were roaches despite the “pest control” fees, they charged $50 when moving out to change a light bulb, the bathroom sink and toilet seat were broken when moving in, they forgot to give me my mailbox key, and for several months, leasing agents would barge in unannounced to give tours. I would recommend literally anywhere else in Austin above this place.

Awful place to live. Everything described by Jimmy and Mark is almost the same as what also happened to me while I was living there. Do not stay there!
