Chandler Hall is a vintage property with updated common areas, common laundry center (app based), and incredible turn of the century charm. Our apartment homes are a great bang for the buck with lovely hardwood floors, separate kitchen space, bathtubs, and bright and spacious layouts. The property is centrally located in lower Queen Anne, and there are abundant cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores within walking distance. This is lovely gem in a great location.

I lived at Chandler Hall from 5/2021 to 5/2024. It’s honestly one of the best buildings I’ve lived in in Seattle. The building is old, and it has the kinds of quirks you expect with an old building (a million coats of paint on the cabinets, funky windows, finicky pipes), but that also means thick old walls so you’re not listening to every detail of your neighbors’ lives. It’s walking distance to a few grocery stores, a ton of restaurants, a post office, the Seattle Center, and like 7 parks. I don’t think you can get a better location for the price, and they do maintain it- in my time here the carpets and washing machines were replaced and the halls were repainted. Blake, the manager, was great from day one. I had high hopes because of how quickly he responded to emails when I was applying, and nothing changed once I moved in. I’m used to waiting days/weeks/months and having to badger management to get things fixed, but Blake fixed most issues that came up in my unit same-day or next-day, and always communicated when to expect people very clearly in advance. He was also really respectful and communicative about scheduling tours when I was moving out, which I appreciated. This is the longest I’ve ever stayed in a building and Blake being a great manager has been a big factor. I only left because I had to leave the city, and if I return to Seattle I’d absolutely live here again.

Like others have said I almost didn't live here because of the bad reviews. After living here for two and a half years I can honestly say I'm gonna miss the place. After the new building manager, Blake, took over things really started to improve and he really seems to care about the building and keeping things running well for the occupants. It's a good neighborhood and very walkable to most places and quick access to the Rapid Lines. If you're on the fence I recommended you check it out. Bonus, free heat in winter since we have steam heat throughout the building so your power bill won't skyrocket in the colder months.
