We currently have two rooms in our 3rd floor, 3-bedroom unit available to be leased, starting on January 1st, 2021. There is an additional posting for the other room, as each room is individually leased. The other room is slightly smaller than this room. This room is the largest of the 3 rooms and has extra storage space. One of the 3 rooms in the unit is currently being leased by a quiet, clean and respectful tenant in her late 20's. The unit has new ceramic panel flooring, including the bedrooms; there is a large eat-in kitchen with TONS of cupboard space, a large custom tiled bathroom with a linen closet, and some landlord provided amenities such as a commercial toaster oven, microwave, dish rack, and some additional tools. The house comes with a smart entry feature, where tenants are given individualized codes to unlock the front door. Heating in the apartment is Nest powered. There is on-street parking for those who have a car (no residential permit needed). ALL UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED in the monthly rent, excluding Internet/Cable, which is a shared cost between the roommates. There is affordable coin operated laundry available in the building. There is a fully finished patio with a large picnic table in the back landing of the property that's available for tenants to use, as well as a complimentary grill (you just need to purchase your own propane). The property is approximately a 10 minute walk to the Malden T-Station (orange line), a 7 minute walk to the Malden Stop-n-Shop and a 10 minute walk to the Super 88 (an amazing ethnic grocery store with a superb selection of produce and specialty products). We are also about an 8 minute walk to Malden Center, which houses an eclectic variety of restaurants, eateries, pubs and specialty cocktail locations (such as Exchange Street Bistro). You can also find the Bota Bork challenges house here is well. Walgreens, Malden Urgent Care and other excellent resources are only a 5 - 10 minute walk away from the house. The Malden bike path that connects to Medford, Sommerville and Boston, as well as bike to the beach North Shore, is a 2 block walk from the house. After coming for a viewing, anyone who is interested in submitting an application to rent from us will need to show proof of adequate and stable income, submit a recent credit report, and provide 1 rental history reference and 1 personal reference of good character. To secure a lease, you must submit first months rent and a security deposit (equal to one month's rent). There is no fee for the rental application processing.
