251 Marion is an historic piece of Mill Valley. In the same family for over 100 years, this home has hosted talented artists and even a Shakespeare company through the years. It sits just next to the top of the first leg of Dipsea Steps, which makes the secluded location very convenient to drop into downtown MV. On a large lot that 251 Marion shares with one other home, the main house is 3 full bedrooms with an additional room that could be used as an office, playroom or nursery. The kitchen has been updated with newer appliances but maintains the charm of a mountain house with butcher block counter tops, and refinished original cabinetry. The central living room features original hardwood flooring and a grand fireplace to one end, and access to a large deck to the other. There is a flat front yard and walking paths to natural outdoor areas amongst beautiful Redwood trees. Additional Large deck and storage outside the house. Designated parking for two cars, with additional street spaces just out front. Washer and dryer are also provided just off the kitchen.
