Negev's residents are not only from all over the United States, but around the world as well: France, Denmark, Canada, Hungary, India, Israel, Japan, Singapore, China, Australia, Russia, Brazil, Germany, Colombia, and Bulgaria (and that list is just for who currently lives here!). Everyone in the house is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Even though it may seem daunting living in a house with so many people at first (50-70), you will feel at home quickly because of all of the people that will take the time to get to know you and bring you along to any event/activity you can imagine inside/outside San Francisco. On any given day of the week members of the house will organize events: hiking, going out for drinks, exploring the neighborhoods in the city, watching movies, taking trips to Tahoe/Vegas/etc., playing video games, rock climbing, arts & crafts, and the list goes on... In addition to events organized by house members, every Sunday evening is House Dinner where everyone gets together for dinner. After dinner, a meeting is held for any suggestions or concerns from the past week at the house. The house also allocates budget for things like: video games, sports equipment, etc as long as enough members of the house agree on what to spend the money on. - The house itself is organized into three floors. - The 2nd and 3rd floors are the living space: - Each room is individually keyed. - There are a bathrooms & showers spread out through both floors. - The first floor is the space where most members spend the majority of time when at home: - Secure location indoors for bicycle storage. - Movie theater room with projector, leather recliners, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. - Separate TV room with couches and smart TV. - Both the movie & TV room have subscriptions to DirectTV, HBO Go, and more. - Living room with couches to seat 30 people. - Wifi controlled sound system (Sonos). - Ping pong table - Library room stocked with books and board games to hang out in. - The kitchen contains: 3 ovens/stovetops, 2 industrial refrigerators, industrial freezer, 2 microwaves, coffee maker, toaster oven, filtered water dispenser. - Everyone gets their own designated cupboard space, refrigerator space, and freezer space.
