My fiance and I just got approved for a 1 bedroom apartment! We are so excited to be moving in to this wonderful community. Stacey has been amazing every step of the way and I cannot say enough great things about everyone! Defiantly will recommend these apartments!

I'm excited to take occupancy of my 5th floor unit in early November. I'm blessed with a river view And with the Orange MAX line 200 yards from my front door, downtown Portland is within delightfully easy reach.
My partner and I searched ALL OVER Portland, spent weeks researching online and days touring apartments. Thankfully we did come across quite a few polite leasing agents throughout our tours around the city, Portland is still full of kind people, but Stacey defiantly stood out from the beginning! From Calling us on her day off to schedule a viewing and giving me the low down on all the information I needed before even coming in, to the no pressure and easy going move in process too! By far the easiest move I’ve had and we are so happy to be a part of this community thanks to Stacey and Dan! We haven’t needed John for any maintenance issues yet but he is so kind and personable, so far so good to me!
Amazing location, Beautiful terrace and every unit has amazing light with giant windows which is what sold me!
Parking is a wee steep for me personally right now but it’s a pretty cool set up, and vehicles are defiantly safe and secure in their garage. Thankfully The garage fee is month to month with no pressure on that either! They don’t make me feel like a peasant for choosing street parking! I will probably pay for parking during the winter months.
Noise level? Not sure yet since I don’t think anyone lives in the units around us yet. Time will tell! Either way, apartments are apartments, there will always be some level of noise but everything else is so lovely that we probably won’t mind.
Great location with the Orange Line MAX LITERALLY at my front door to Portland in 22 minutes or Trimet Buses going to Oregon City one direction or to the Clackamas Town Center Mall on SE 82nd.
McLaughlin gets you to Oak Grove Fred Meyers, Walmart, Grocery Outlets, Goodwill & 2 Dollar Trees in 5 minutes. Within walking distance is the Willamette Park waterfront, Library, Food Truck Court, Farmers' Market, Post Office, convenience store, Chase & Key Bank & Milwaukie Trimet Bus Station.
Ultra brand new modern 2018 building with outside patio & fire pits overlooking the Willamette River with an inside community TV/kitchen/party room and simple clean gym. Cycling paths one block.
Great insulation as I have never ever heard any of my neighbors.

I was given a stellar tour of the premises from Mallory. She answered all my questions with pricing, amenities, and Wi-Fi as a job I was pursuing allowed me to work from home. I ended up accepting a different job in an area too far for my liking for commuting from the Milwaukie area, otherwise I would have chose this place to call home. I loved the views and the demographics were that of my age group. Would recommend based off of the representation they have staffed here. Seems they care about tenants needs.

All of these reviews that say they don’t answer emails or their phone are fraudulent because I can easily get ahold of both maintenance and the leasing office, in fact you can easily submit work orders through the app, or in-person. My only complaint is the hard water, I hope they consider a water softener for the property, that would be delightful! At first I thought my washing machine and dishwasher were dirty, but found a rinse agent and descaling was necessary. The gym is hands down better than any I’ve seen at other complexes complete with a water bottle filing machine and they really try to keep the lounge clean. Some people who are complaining may be the culprits of either property damage or loud music during quiet time because not everyone reads that respect and consideration of your neighbors is in the lease. I’m surprised how cool my apartment stays when I cool it down at night, and shut it up during the day with the fan on and blinds down. I haven’t invested in an AC yet but I like that it’s an option. I can’t wait until the new Milwaukie Cafe and Grocer comes in just two blocks away!

I loved living here.
The town of Milwaukie, Oregon is a beautiful and entertaining historic town. There was a fantastic Community Manager (Daniel Barrett) and a very helpful and friendly maintenance manager (John) working for Axletree while I rented here. Plus, the apartment windows provided a gorgeous view of the river and sunsets. Overall the apartment was great.
I enjoyed living here while I worked up in Portland, Oregon. I would recommend the Axletree apartments to those who enjoy walking, biking, and public transit. 12/10.
I love the location, and I love the attention to detail that the apartment complex has. The people who are running the leasing program are by far the easiest to work with I've ever had the experience with in the past: friendly, available, and quick to reply. The building itself is beautiful and full of light and promises to to have an amazing common-area. I am very excited about this property!
