TL;DR: good location, horrid management and upkeep. I will not be continuing my lease here after the first year is up. Note that the current 5 star review is from the building manager, Connor. # On Location This will be the one good section I write. The location of the building is fantastic. It's nice to live 2 blocks away from a bus stop that brings you downtown, while still living on the water. There are plenty of local restaurants around with great food. I enjoy the location a lot. # On Management This properties suffers from a poor maintenance and management team. This past week, loud, apartment-shaking construction began without any notice to the residents. This construction was approved my management. Upon a large number of residents complaining, the building management is now offering a $300 _gift card_ PER UNIT. As a unit with 6 residents, starting such loud construction without notice and offering $50 compensation is completely unacceptable. Apart from this issue, upon move-in our unit had multiple problems with electrical breakers being flipped during important work meetings and interviews. Upon notifying the maintenance team, they blamed US for using too much power. We only have one computer per resident, and made this clear to them. This blaming is completely unprofessional and unsympathetic, as we are now in an age where working from home is the standard. The issue ended up being fixed, because, believe it or not, the breakers were old and needed to be replaced! After they were replaced, we had no issues. # On the property There is no controlled mail access, and mail is regularly left sitting in the lobby where anyone could pick it up. We are fortunate that no packages have been stolen, but the lack of controlled access is concerning when we receive more expensive packages. The elevator is way too small, and cannot fit large furniture pieces. We have had to move a couch into our unit by dropping it onto our balcony and moving it in through patio doors because the elevator is too small. It's clear this property is not well-kept. The floors are coated with fur and hair and have been for months. The handrails in the stairwell wobble. Emergency exit signs seem to have fallen off the ceiling and dangle by wires. The floors are thin. I can hear whenever my upstairs neighbors are simply walking around, and I can hear other tenants in their units talking at a normal speaking volume. The sound-proofing in this building is poor. The property is expensive, and for the rent I'm paying I expect better. I expect better communication, better upkeep, more empathetic maintenance, and a better living experience. I do not recommend Minor Tower as a place to live.

Nearly every management position at walls gets replaced every 3 months, and are very hard to reach. The floors are so thin you can hear your upstairs neighbors having a conversation at speaking volume, and they left our dishwasher broken for a literal fourth of our lease. they also ruined the look of every room in our apartment with the cheapest and ugliest fire alarm installation they could find.
