I toured these apartments almost a year ago and unfortunately the apartment I wanted I was unable to move into because my lease was up after the move in date. But this complex I still would love to move into. The management team seemed very kind and attentive. They cared and even refunded the application fee since I was unable to move in at the time. I plan to try again and hope the apartment I want is available in February. It was a beautiful and safe looking property I have yet to see one as nice as here.

I have lived in Desert Lakes for almost 5 years and am very happy here. The manager, assistant manager, leasing agent, and maintenance staff are always on top of things and I am completely happy with every aspect of this community. I have never had a bad experience with any employee. Parking is a little tough but livable due to the other great things. The property is clean and well-maintained. The pricing is average for the area. It's a quiet community, no issues with any other residents, it's pretty quiet. Security guard at night is great as well, it brings an additional comfort level along with being a gated community. I highly recommend this community

I lived at Desert Lakes for four years and I enjoyed my stay there. The grounds were always cleaned and maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests were always answered promptly. The apartments are conveniently located, safe, quiet and pet friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move to Phoenix.

My girlfriend and I had a terrible experience at the place we lived at just before moving here so we were both super nervous about dealing with another management but Virginia in particular was super patient and transparent with us and followed through with every single thing she said she would and didn't try anything shady like so many phoenix apartments do. Maintenance responds to issues promptly and professionally. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer place for the money and area, especially in this economy. It's clean, quiet, and private and there's nice new countertops and cabinets. We had to break our lease because of a promotion at work but I wish I could've stayed longer. Thank you guys for your honesty and integrity when the norm in phoenix seems to be to blame and money grab. Highly recommend

We have been living here for about 3 months and we absolutely love it here! Danielle in the office is super sweet and helped us through the whole application process and answered any of our question or concerns. Our experience living here has been amazing, we have no issues with our apartment and all of our neighbors are super sweet. The good thing about this apartment complex is that they hold events for the whole community every month in order to just get to know each other which I think was really cool and nice of them to do. The apartment grounds are very nicely kept and it's really quiet, I cannot stop saying so many positive things about this place, honestly the best decision we made into moving here!
****Update**** After living here for 18 months I can say my experience living here was really nice and pleasant! Danielle in the front office was always friendly she would always say hello when she would see us around the community and maintenance was great! It would only take 1 day when we would submit a request maybe 2 days at the most but nothing more than that! I lived towards the back of the apartment complex and I never really had an issue with anything or anyone. Almost everyone I encountered during my time here was friendly, I even made friends with my parking neighbor! We never really had any problems with our apartment, other then just the A/C breaking once but they would be there the next day getting it fixed! As for parking, it wasn't that bad what we did was that the first person who got to the complex would take a parking spot towards the front of the complex and the person who came in last would take the parking spot that we were assigned too. And anyways the complex isn't that big where it's like a 10 minute walk, worst case scenario you were walking 3-5 minutes to your apartment and that's that I lived at the very back of the complex and I would park in the front so it's really not that bad. Towards the end of my stay they were doing water shut off's but they were really good about communicating with you when those day's would be, I signed up for email notifications and I check my email daily so they were usually sending you emails days before letting you know about what they were doing, PLUS they would post up posters around the community letting you know about important information that would affect you. I honestly never really experienced any issues and my rent never increased other then the times I would renew my lease and even then it wasn't a drastic raise it was a small raise but they never raised my rent during the current lease agreement. The grounds were kept really nice and we always felt safe here, overall we had a great experience here and enjoyed our stay, we have nothing negative to say about this complex.

I lived at Desert Lake Apartments for five years. I lived in three different units. I really enjoyed my five years living at Desert Lake Apartment. Gated. Security on duty all night. Quite at night. Chill vibe. Clean. Pool empty all summer.

very speedy response with maintenance requests, very nice looking apartment units lived there for 2 years (two lease terms) with maintenance requests normally 1-3 days. when AC went out it was next day awesome office people very friendly and great perks for paying your rent early (early bird special) the grounds are kept up just great place to live
