I really enjoyed my experience living at Wallace, and a huge part of that is thanks to the amazing staff. The maintenance team was incredibly responsive, courteous, professional, and personable—always quick to resolve requests with care. A special shoutout to Fernando and Enrique, who were always pleasant and friendly when seen around the building or when handling maintenance issues. The cleaning crew did an exceptional job, especially in the dog park, which they cleaned daily, and they were constantly working to keep the gorgeous common areas spotless. I want to specifically mention Carmen, who was always warm and friendly whenever I ran into her. Her kindness and dedication truly made a difference in the community atmosphere. The security team was also fantastic, keeping a watchful eye both at the front entrance and throughout the building. A special thanks to Edgar, who was incredibly diligent in keeping track of residents and our vehicles, making it easy for him to identify anyone who doesn’t belong. Thanks to his vigilance, I always felt safe and secure living there. Overall, the staff went above and beyond to maintain a well-kept, welcoming, and safe environment, despite the fast pace and rough-around-the-edges reputation of the Hollywood area. Note: the area is noisy, as it is on Sunset Blvd, and is right across from the Palladium. There are encampments for the unhoused behind the building. At least one elevator breaks down each month. And occasionally the parking garage door malfunctions (although, the security monitors it when this happens). Although it is a newer building with beautiful decor,features, and amenities, it isn’t perfect. I would recommend viewing it in person, driving around the building and the area, both during the day and at night, and ensuring this is “your vibe.” Although Hollywood, the industry, is world-renowned for its glitz and glamour, Hollywood, the area, isn’t for everyone.
