We lived there for a little over year and there were lots of issues that weren't properly communicated to the residents. First, there were multiple complaints about the security of the building. They claim its fob entry only but then the garage door is left open daily and strangers from the back alley then have full access to every floor. Our car was broken into, as well as 3-5 others - windows were broken, things were stolen. Management did nothing about it and didn't express concern over the $600 worth of things that were stolen from us. Second, they stole half our deposit and prorated rent. They sent us one check with half the deposit and via text stated "repairs were made", but one the document they sent stating the deposit breakdown stated 0$ was removed for repairs. The property manager stated they were correcting and sending an additional check for the prorated rent they "forgot" to send through - it's been almost two months and I've sent multiple follow ups with no response or check. Third, the current property manager, JD, does not communicate when a) issues arise with building function (when our cars got broken into he asked us not to tell anyone), when the garage door was broken he took a week to send a mass text stating so. Any issues that I brought up were never addressed, such as faulty doors, carpet issues, general maintenance issues. he told me to use the maintenance portal and then proceeded to ignore all requests from that as well. Overall, not a good experience. It was a little less than $1500 for 1 bedroom - literally just a place to sleep since there are no amenities AT ALL. You have to pay $175 just to park in the garage that is unsecured and anyone from the alley has access to your car OR you have to pay $50 to park in the back lot where, more often than not, someone else has parked (even though you pay for that spot). It's in a terrible location right on dodge street - our windows shook every time truck drove by at 3am. If you're looking for calm, quiet luxury and professionalism at an affordable rate ... not the place for you.
