I had an apartment in Kent during COVID and had to move due to my apartment completely flooding out. After a short stay in a hotel, I moved into Napoleon. The initial management for roughly the first year was a little rocky, but once Michael took over as management, everything has been running smoothly. All of the staff here are professional and friendly. In my personal experience, any maintenance issues are addressed promptly. I moved in back in January of 2021, so I have been here for a good portion of the time this building has been standing.
Other residents are very polite and friendly, and that makes it easy to live here. Having the peace of mind that you can easily just have a conversation with your neighbors, however long or short, is a breath of fresh air especially considering that these apartments are in the city. Being in the city, you are inevitably going to hear city noises. However, it is also pretty quiet here, so if you don't particularly like the hustle and bustle of the city, you probably won't find a quieter place to live. The location is convenient to bars, restaurants, the freeway, and is within a reasonable distance to grocery stores, gas stations, college campuses, and the Tacoma Mall.
Basically, I couldn't really ask for a much better place to live in the city.

I’ve been living at Napoleon apartments for about 7 months now.
Going through the approval and move in process was quite easy, and we got in fairly soon after our tour! They had some essentials to get started our first few nights, like laundry detergent, dish washer pods, dryer sheets, some snacks and beverages in the fridge, it was a very warm welcome.
So far, everything has been fantastic. If I’ve had any problems or concerns, I’ve gotten my problem fixed within a day of addressing it to management. Michael has been extremely helpful, and everyone I’ve encountered has been so welcoming!
I haven’t had any problems with my unit, other than maybe a window getting stuck.
One thing I love most is how quiet it is. Sometimes in the hallways you can hear conversations, I live on the 6th floor and there is a party room very close to my unit. As soon as I close my front door, I get silence.
I don’t think I’ve heard my neighbors on either side a single time. It is on a main city street, so of course you’re going to get sirens, and regular city noises; however, Napoleon does a great job of making it a safe-haven from the surrounding area, and I feel very safe here.

Living at Napoleon is a vibe. The building’s aesthetic is straight out of a magazine, with its sleek and modern feel — I especially love the rooftop deck with the amazing views of Tacoma. But honestly, the real top-notch are the staff!
They’re super professional and dedicated to ensuring residents feel at home. 😜

I recently moved into the Napoleon Apartments with my family because the apartments are spacious. The building is clean, well maintained and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. They were super helpful in making sure our things safely entered the premises on moving day!!
From the beginning Laticha Barton had been a wonderful resource. She had assisted every step of the way; making sure everything worked out smoothly for my family and I. Her sincere combination of warmthness, kindness, thoughtfulness as well as professionalism is not often seem these days. In addition her, the rest of the staff make the building feel like home. Thanks guys!!!

I lived here in 2022-2023 and I had a wonderful experience! The manager Michael, was amazing. He was super professional and super cool. He really cares for the building and for the tenants. He always helped me with any issue I had. If any, because I really loved everything about the building. The appliances are great! The units are clean and modern. The gym was really nice too. The maintenance guy was super nice also! I miss living at Napoleon. Definitely one of the best apartments to live in Tacoma!
I'm about to finish my second year at Napoleon and begin my third. The experience has been great thus far. It's a very nice facility, it is well maintained, and I've found management receptive to needs with a quick response. They are professional and handle themselves as such. Special shout out to Laticha who was especially helpful during my lease renewal process. She brings a joyful spirit to her work and is always quick to help. Napoleon has managed numerous staff changes as well as can be expected and keep the operation moving forward. There are some issues I have with the surrounding neighborhood but that's on Tacoma not Napoleon.
Laticha is the sweetest and most genuine person—I’m so grateful for all of her help. She made our tour, approval, and move-in easy and quick by being courteous, flexible, and communicative. The maintenance staff is helpful and friendly, and they get their work done quickly and thoroughly.
We love the location: walkable distance to all the Tacoma bars and shops, but still removed from the congestion of downtown. Covered parking is a huge highlight for us, along with in-unit washers & dryers, and a small balcony to enjoy coffee. After living here for two weeks, we’re convinced that this was the best deal for the price and location!
