I do not recommend living here. While the apartments look charming from the outside and in the listings, they are not well maintained. I had to cut my lease two months short due to humidity, mold and a potential leak, with zero support from management and eventual ghosting. The shared laundry room is absolutely disgusting and the washers and dryers rarely work. If you're set on living in this building, do not rent unit 35 unless you are sure the mold and other issues have been remediated and resolved and not just painted over. The only good thing is the location and the proximity to all the Capitol Hill happenings, but that can also be seen as a downside due to the amount of sirens and traffic through the area. Images show some of the cracks and warping in the walls and ceiling and mold regrowth within a couple weeks of being cleaned with household cleaner (property management didn’t help), including mold in the outlets. The mold was much, much worse but unfortunately I don’t have pictures and these don’t show the breadth of the entire situation.
