Living at Ventana was pretty pleasant. The apartments are spacious and cheap. Despite being near Pike Place, the location isn’t great. Past 10PM the neighborhood doesn’t feel very safe and the majority of crimes are only a few blocks away. I had a generally positive experience with management during my stay but the move out wasn’t great. About 3 months prior to leaving I accidentally dropped a jar which shattered the stove top glass. Due to COVID I couldn’t get it replaced. Upon move out, the property management contacted me and told me the stove was too old to get parts for and that I would be responsible for paying $650 to buy an entirely new stove. They did express that there may have been another option to replace the stovetop but they “thought it would be more expensive”, so they went ahead and used my security deposit to buy the new stove. I just wish the courtesy would’ve been there to express other options before charging me and ending all contact. Overall, you’ll save a few bucks (even after buying a new stove) and live in an okay part of town.
