The maintenance team here is stellar! Especially, Jordano and Manuel. Had a little accident and they came by next day and fixed my bath faucets and fixed the closet doors while they were at it. They did a great job!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Johnta Tigner, the community manager, while planning my 35th birthday celebration in the Sky Lounge. From the start, Johnta was friendly, and accommodating. He listened carefully to my vision and worked diligently to ensure everything was perfect for my event. Not only did he make timely improvements to the event space, but he also went above and beyond to make the celebration feel special. Thank you, Johnta, for helping make my birthday memorable!

The best part about this property is the rooftop view, it is the absolute best view in all of Boston. The management/leasing staff is always available to help out and answer questions. The doggie park is great especially when you dont want to go out on very cold days. And the pool is a great refresher on hot summer days.
My quality of life has improved exponentially since moving to Troy Boston. Everything about the building is extraordinary. I’ve lived in managed communities within greater Boston in the past but have never experienced the high level of service, amenity, and convenience offered at Troy.
The management team has been wonderful to work with. Travis in particular was incredibly helpful throughout the move-in process. The maintenance team is professional and efficient. Alexis and Jada (concierge team) continue to impress me with their kindness, care, and knowledge of the building. The other day, I arrived at the front entry obviously struggling with grocery bags (Whole Foods is a 30-second walk away… it’s amazing). Jada quite literally sprinted to the door to assist. This is just one example of the many acts of kindness executed on the regular by Troy’s concierge team.
My roommate and I adore our new home. If you’re looking to move with a friend, Troy has so many 2B/2B apartments that accommodate a roommate situation perfectly. Square footage is small, but we don’t mind because the space is so usable and beautiful! Finishes resemble that of a modern flat in London. Floor-to-ceiling windows. Small, but extremely efficient German engineered appliances. Water pressure/temperature is insanely good. Love the Nest thermosets and custom cut fabric blinds. Condo-grade finishes throughout.
Amenity spaces (some of which were just renovated) are unreal. Great options for work from home, multiple roof decks with unbeatable views of the city, very impressive Covid-friendly gym… did I mention the pool!? I can’t wait to share these spaces with friends and family when it’s safe to do so. Also- the enormous interior loading dock was extremely helpful at move-in.
Neighborhood is the best in Boston. Some of my favorite restaurants (Chops, Kava, Yellow Door, Frenchie etc.) are less than a 10-minute walk away. Whole Foods, CVS, and Sweetgreen are less than a 2-minute walk away. Street parking is easy with a resident sticker.
Please forgive the long review. In short, leasing with Troy Boston may be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I highly recommend considering this community.

Lived here for 3 years (not originally from MA, moving in from NYC), very happy with the accommodations. Friendly and responsive leasing staff. Quick and efficient maintenance. Great amenities. Appreciated the thick windows to minimize noise. Great location in the South End - Easy to get around and quick to airport. Rent went up quite a bit each year, but to be expected (also new restaurant recently built for anyone moving in). Great experience.
I have lived here for several years and have had an overall great experience. The current leasing and management team is excellent (although we miss Mohammad!) —Johnta, the community manager, is excellent—accessible, available, open to ideas, professional and warm. The maintenance department is also excellent—when an issue arises they correct it almost immediately(!), and with a high degree of professionalism, while also being friendly and courteous. The cleaning crew members are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet!
These apartments were designed by a European team so you will find nicer quality features than in similar communities (the expensive condos across the street have the same style features). The floors are sustainable, but manufactured with actual wood and are comfortable to walk on as they are “floating” floors. Personally, I adore the smaller paneled kitchen appliances that blend seamlessly into the cabinetry. I don’t know why some people complain about the “small” refrigerator! Who wants a behemoth stainless steel refrigerator that will have fingerprint marks all over it?! Besides, if you run out of food, WholeFoods Market is a one minute walk away!
To me, the downside is the specific location of the building. Although the location is convenient for commuting by car, foot, or public transportation, some apartments face the I-93 overpass and adjacent MassPike access, so that particular view is unattractive. The high level of traffic can be noisy and chaotic. Also, some guests of the Pine Street Inn (homeless shelter) can be problematic.
I know I will miss many aspects of what I have experienced at Troy Boston when I decide to move…the design features, the great people and convenient location.

I can't praise this community enough. I called this home for almost two years and my stay was fantastic.
The management team at the building is truly incredible led by the best, Johnta. Johnta also helped me find my first apt in Boston (which I also loved) and that will always be special.
The building and its facilities are very clean and up to the mark, the neighbourhood is amazing and close to everything.
Highly recommend this community.
