I lived here while I was a student at the Butler School of Music, and I give it 3 stars primarily for it's location. The walk-ability really can't be beat, and having a parking space included on Dean Keeton was amazing. The one beds are a good size for one person, and there is lots of closet space in the bedroom. I could practice in the apartment for the most part without neighbor complaints, though the walls ARE thin, so I recommend working some sort of schedule out with the people next to and below you if you're a music student. Biggest cons: cockroaches. In the summer, this complex will get them bad. I lived on the 2nd floor and still slept with Raid next to me! The walls are paper thin, so you can expect to hear neighbors conversations pretty clearly against a shared wall. I think the bathroom cabinets are dual sided from one apartment into the next, because when the neighbor turned on their bathroom light, my whole bathroom lit up too. There were a few incidents with people throwing rocks through windows or camping at the bus stop right outside the complex, but this wasn't usually an issue. Only other downside was having only one window AC unit- it is in the bedroom, so it gets HOT in the summer and fall. My common space ran about 80+ degrees for six months, and then went down into the 50s during the freeze. The kitchen space is very condensed as well, so if you like to cook a lot, it'll be pretty tight! That said, overall, it did the job at a great price for the time!
