As a preface, I haven't moved in yet. I'll update once I move in to talk about the details of living in this building, but for now I'll talk about how the tour was and how management has helped make my move easier: I'm moving across the country later this month. When I flew to Boston for my interview, management was very flexible in helping ensure I can see the building, since I was only in town for one day. Jeff came in early to be sure there was time for a full tour. We walked through the building, I FaceTimed my wife, and we both fell in love with the apartment. It's a gorgeous building with high ceilings, exposed brick, modern kitchens, great views, in a fantastic location (Walking distance to South Station, and South Boston is getting better by the week, it seems!). It was the first apartment I looked at that day, and almost wanted to cancel the rest of the appointments I had for other communities, since I instantly knew it was where I wanted to end up. After that, management was unbelievably helpful in making the leasing process easy. Moving across the country adds a few intricacies to a move, and the management at 381 has made it seem simple. I don't have to chase any answers down, Jeff just emails or calls when he needs more info from me or to sign the lease, and everything else is taken care of in the background while I can focus on tying off everything where I live now. It's been the easiest leasing process by far, and I've moved a half dozen times over the years. It's also the only time where an apartment manager *hasn't* started ignoring calls/emails after getting me to sign the lease. It's very clear that 381 Congress wants all of their tenants to be happy, and management there is willing to do what it takes to help build that happy community.
