Welcome to Laird Apartments! Laird is a garden-style apartment community situated on McDowell Road just west of Central Avenue in a very trendy, revitalized part of downtown Phoenix. Interior unit features include fully appointed kitchens with electric appliances, hardwood flooring, crown molding, ceramic tile shower surrounds, brushed nickel fixtures, and ceiling fans. Laird is a pet-friendly community, bring your furry friends with you!

I've lived downtown for 13 years and when the previous building I resided in was sold and we all got pushed out, I was lucky enough to meet a local who came to my moving sale and told me about where she lived. It just so happened she had lived at the Laird for almost twenty years - and there was currently a unit available. That was my lucky day. I've lived here almost three years and love it - it's a small community and the historic apartments have a lot of character and charm. It's homey, comfortable and super close to theatre, museums, and tons of dining. The residents are great folks who respect one another and value to easygoing, peaceful environment they've created here. The grounds are maintained, the building is clean, and we're even allowed to decorate the place for holidays. There's a community patio and a front terrace for relaxing, as well as laundry amenities downstairs. All the residents look after one another and really seem to care about keeping this a great place to live. This truly is one of the last buildings of its kind in downtown Phoenix, and I feel lucky to live in such a unique place. I wouldn't ever trade my experience here for living in an overpriced, corporate condo complex. I'm proud to call the Laird my home.

Place is terrible. Smaller than advertised, doors are painted shut so you aren’t able to use the everything there. The photos they take are deceiving and you aren’t able to look at the place until you give your deposit so be careful because they will not give deposit back. Good luck trying to get ahold of anyone that works here too since there is no phone line to take you to them. One of the worst experiences of my life.
