Zumper Expert Rating

Our expert rating is based on a weighted average score of property attributes that renters care about most: price, amenities, location, quality, and trust.
7.9
/10
Very Good
Latitude is worth considering and a notable rental in the neighborhood. Residents prioritizing Amenities will find this property to be a solid option for their next home. It may not stand out for Quality, but it offers a satisfying, above-average quality of life.
How we rated Latitude
Price·7A score that weighs the cost and location of the property, which we calculate by comparing rent prices of recent units to the median price of nearby rentals, adjusting for overall quality and features.
While the monthly rent is more than the median price per bedroom of nearby properties, Latitude has other amenities and features that might compensate for the increased price. The higher monthly rent potentially reflects a higher quality of living that renters might find here, compared to other properties in the area.
Amenities·10A score based on the amenities offered at this property compared to other rentals in the area. We consider the quantity, quality, and popularity of features both on site and within the units.
Latitude stands out as a premier property with an impressive array of amenities and an excellent standard of living. Residents here have access to many of the most popular and desired perks—pets allowed—making this one of the top choices for renters seeking unparalleled comfort and convenience.
Location·9A score based on proximity and ease of access to shops, restaurants, schools, and public transportation while considering the desirability of the area.
Latitude is exceptional when it comes to location and conveniences. Communication with management or leasing staff is usually quick and easy and they often use advanced scheduling and communication tools to streamline the process. The location of this property offers easy access to popular points of interest in the area and options for getting around.
Quality·6A score based on what makes the property stand out, such as luxury features, unique offerings, age of the building, and our ability to verify the accuracy of these details.
While Latitude does not have many hallmark characteristics to highlight, it has some qualities and features that will resonate with a broad range of renters.
Trustworthiness·8A score based on the accuracy, completeness, recency, and usefulness of the information provided by this property, so you can trust that what you see is what you get.
The level of transparency this property provides distinguishes it as a great rental. With a high attention to detail and desirable features, renters can be sure they will get an accurate picture of their potential new home.

We visited 25+ apartment homes during our 3-week search and finally chose Latitude Apartments. Except good location, one of the main reasons of our choice is the perfect Community Director John Plonske. John did a great job from the very beginning. He welcomed us without an appointment and enthusiastically told about the available apartments and the amenities for tenants. After our visit John patiently answered lots of our questions. Moreover, he came to help us move in on Easter Sunday when nobody else worked. Now when we live here, John is willing to help with any issue we have making our life here much easier. He is always helpful and friendly. The Latitude Apartments aren’t brand-new but in good condition. We have assigned parking garage here, bike storage, a parcel room, a patio with grills, a small gym, a community room with TV and Wi-Fi, free of charge storage. The building has direct access to the Oak Leaf Trail where you can walk to the coastline and enjoy lake views every single day. Our apartment isn’t that large but we have a huge balcony. There are two closets, a smaller one next to the entrance and a walk-in one in the bedroom. The floor in rooms is covered with carpet. All the equipment (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer) works properly. High-speed internet access and cable TV offered as a bundle as well. The only issue about the apartment is absence of lights on the ceiling in bedroom and living room. The rental agreement is quite well-written and not too difficult to understand. You can sign it online. The rent and utilities are paid online, no need to write any checks. Our first weeks in the Latitude Apartments are lovely. Hope nothing would spoil it 🙂

I'm not a big fan of living in apartment buildings but this place is actually an exception for me. Normally apartment buildings are faceless and cold; there's no personality to the building and there's no community between the residents. This place, on the other hand, makes an effort to reach out and create that community; one way they do this is by giving the building a personality. The property is safe and quiet, it's also clean and modern. The surroundings are also in an area where you don't have to look over your shoulder; it's an ideal living situation.
