It’s hard to get a maintenance request done here. Just recently, me and my partner haven’t had any water coming out of our shower. I put in a maintenance request over a WEEK AGO. And still nothing. Had to call in order to get movement and even then, we’ll see how long that takes. Last year, during the winter storm, one on our windows broke due to a tree falling. Put in a maintenance request to have it fixed. They came to look at it and that was it. They didn’t fix it. Still broken. To include, we have water damage in our bathroom from the neighbor upstairs not being able to turn their tub off. They came. Looked at it. Didn’t fix it. It’s ridiculous.

do not move here if you value your sanity or your money.... I moved in on a weekend and 3/4 of my appliances were not working, including my refrigerator and my oven. Thankfully they were able to get them working again first thing Monday morning by flipping a switch in the breaker box, but why would that not be something they check when doing the final walk through? Furthermore, it took me hours to get my national grid account connected to the building because no one told me it is listed in their system under 336 Linwood instead of 330 Linwood. Within the first week of living in the apartment, my wall AC unit leaked everywhere and caused damage to my property, though not enough to be reimbursable under my renters insurance policy. The elevator broke with me inside it while I was trying to move in and I am too terrified to use it ever since then. I also had issues with rust buildup in my pipes causing leaks and low water pressure, which apparently is because they couldn't be bothered to replace the original pipes in the building when they remodeled it. Amazon will sometimes refuse to deliver packages to you because they do not think it is safe leaving them outside the building and they have no way to get in. I am paying $50 a month for a parking spot and I have no idea why because I scratch the side of my car on the overgrown bushes next to the driveway every time I use it. The property management company was allegedly installing storage units for residents to use and they weren't ready yet when I moved in- that was 3 months ago and I've heard nothing about it. I spent 2 weeks freezing cold and had to purchase a space heater because they couldn't be bothered to turn the boilers on until October 7th, at which point it could have been snowing already because this is Buffalo. The wifi was supposed to be set up already when I moved in but it took me a week to get the wifi installed and 2 visits from Spectrum, during which time I had to use data for everything. There is a reason that it has been months since this building opened for rent and there are still units available.
