I had a water leak coming from my front window, and Jeff immediately assessed the situation. He went above and beyond, searching for, and fixing the leak. As a long-time resident of The Savoy Apartments I have watched both management & ownership change over the years, with the accompanying roller coaster ride of good, mediocre, and terrible customer service. In early 2023 The Savoy changed ownership & management again VERY suddenly, which left many of the remaining residents feeling uncertain about the future and unsure of what to expect from the new arrangement. As is clear from many of the reviews from 10-11 months ago and earlier (2020-2022), the previous office staff had been hard to find and slow to respond, with obvious communication gaps between management and maintenance staff, for which the residents suffered. However, I am happy to be able to say that the new owners (Apartment Service Management Company) and new office staff have been working hard in 2023 to restore trust with current residents, and renew the appearance and functionality of the apartment complex overall. They have been responsive to service calls (such as replacing my ancient air conditioning unit in August within 24 hours of breaking down), and concerned with the care and safety of the apartment neighborhood in general. Overall, the quality of apartment life has tremendously improved at The Savoy over the course of 2023 - a very positive trend for those of us looking at a lease renewal in the next few months!
